Patricia Murphy Sobota, 78, of Paoli, PA, passed away on June 27th, 2023. Daughter of late Jack Edward Murphy, and Audrey (nee McCullough) of Meadville, PA, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank W Sobota. She is survived by their daughter, Kelly Sobota Wallace; her sister, Sheila (Richard), her brother, Mark (Betsy); and a beloved niece and nephews and their children. Pat “Murph” was a special friend to all that knew her, through her works with the Daylesford Abbey Art Show and volunteering with Paoli Hospital and Paoli Library. She had a true love of animals, and is now with her beloved Riley, Chessie, and Greta, after crossing the Rainbow Bridge.
After teaching high school English, Pat moved with her husband to Paoli, where she was an editor for several local companies, finishing with Vanguard in 2008. She loved reading, knitting, and cheering on Penn State. Saturdays were spent with her daughter at local establishments for their lunch dates.
Memorial Services are to be determined but know we will be having a great time to remember Pat (aka “Murph").
