Mary was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on May 27th, 1979. She graduated from Conestoga High School in 1997. After graduation, she attended one year at University of Delaware and then transferred to Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) in Honolulu, HI to pursue a degree in Communications and Public Relations. She graduated in 2001. Afterwards, Mary also received her certification in special education from Chestnut Hill College. While at HPU, Mary obtained the required security clearance and had the privilege to intern with the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM), which is in charge of using and integrating United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps forces. Mary’s time with USPACOM was a rare and exceptional educational experience where she had the privilege to speak with the pilot of Air Force One and the President.
After graduation, Mary worked at the Upper Merion Transportation Management and the American Legion Post in Wayne, PA. She also worked at Conestoga High School and OJ Roberts High School in special education. Recently, Mary started her own business, Families First PA, helping families, especially single moms, find affordable child care. Mary was to start a new job with Montgomery County Family Services on May 15, 2023 but was thwarted by her admission to Paoli Hospital.
Mary was witty, funny, fun-loving, creative, intelligent, excellent at sports and always late. She was truly dedicated to her children and fought fiercely to foster and protect the well-being and happiness of her children.
Mary is survived by her son, Dominic Leimeister, her daughters Mia and Gianna Leimeister, her brother John D’Agostini and her parents Kathryn D’Agostini and Dr. Norman D’Agostini.
