Julie S. Kincade

Julie Swope Kincade passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on December 25, 2024. Julie was born in Washington, D.C. to the late John H. Swope and Joan (Munyan) Swope. She was a devoted mother to her three children who were her pride and joy. Julie was the beloved wife of John Kincade for 43 years. They met in the 7th grade classroom at Valley Forge Middle School and would walk to each other's homes growing up. They continued to grow together in life throughout the years.

Julie was an avid knitter and taught many people in the community how to knit. She could create patterns for others while also being able to fix any mistake. She loved doing crosswords, reading, card and table games, and gardening. One of her best attributes was creating memories with and for her loved ones through photo albums and traveling. Also notable were her curiosity of others, sense of humor, and kind laugh.

Julie is survived by her husband John; brother Doug Swope (Jeanne); sister Jinny Varley (Joe); children Steven Kincade, Andrew Kincade, and Jenna Kincade; brother John Swope predeceased her and is survived by his wife Mandy Swope Joos (Eric). She also leaves behind four sister-in-laws; Debbie Rambo (Darryl), Claire Eggeling (Bill), Maureen Kincade- Crean (Steve), Kathleen Baker (Ken) and one brother-in-law, Brian Kincade (Anne Marie); as well as nine nephews and nine nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at Alleva Funeral Home at 1724 E Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA 19301 on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 beginning at 11:00am with a public memorial gathering and then funeral services from 12:00-1:00pm. After the services, a reception will occur with a light lunch from 1:00-4:00pm at Alleva Funeral Home.
