John Foin Moorhead

John F. Moorhead, 91 of Haverford, PA. Died on July 19, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife Amy of 61 years and 2 devoted sons Michael of Pottstown and John J (Merrie) of Baldwin, MD. He is also survived by 3 adoring grandsons, John J Jr, Timothy and Daniel. He worked for Connelly Container for 30 years and currently was a travel consultant for Travel Experts of Ardmore. He and his wife were avid travelers and enjoyed seeing the world.

He was an enthusiastic supporter of everything Notre Dame (Graduate Class of 49) and a lifetime member and past President of the ND Alumni Club of Phila. He served his country during WWII as a radio operator for the 454th Bomb Squadron. He enjoyed tennis and golf and was an active member of Overbrook GC for 40 years.

A Celebration of Life will be at St John Vianney, Gladwyne at 11am on Fri July 22. The family will receive friends at 10am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Phila Library for the Blind would be appreciated.
