John graduated high school from Conestoga High School. John was a skilled master plumber for 50 years. He was a self-employed plumber and well known throughout all of Berwyn.
John loved his sports and was a star athlete during his years at Conestoga.
John is survived by his sister Frances Gawricki; his sister Elizabeth Valley; his niece; Debra Anne Pitt; his nephew Robert Brewton; his nephew Kevin Gawricki.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Pat Gross, Mary Devine and Theresa Brewton.

A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc., 1724 E Lancaster Ave, Paoli, Pennsylvania 19301. Following the visitation will be the burial at 11:30 AM at Saint Denis Cemetery, E. Eagle Rd, Havertown, PA 19083.
