Erin Ann (nee Hayden) Lively, of Wayne, PA, died at home May 8, 2018 from metastatic breast cancer surrounded by family and in the arms of her husband, Peter J. Lively. She was 36 years old. She was blessed with three wonderful children: Amelia, age 7, Declan, age 5, and Frances, age 4.
Erin was born on October 13, 1981, in Honolulu, HI, to Lawrence and Margaret (nee Ker) Hayden, Jr., and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Erin graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Theology in 2004. On February 1, 2008, she married Peter at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fernandina Beach, FL. From 2004 to 2007, she was the Youth Director at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL, and she taught Theology at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, NJ, from 2007 to 2010. She was a stay-at-home mom starting with the birth of her first child.
Erin was a member of St. Katharine of Siena Catholic Church. She possessed a strong Catholic faith, with a devotion to Mary and prayer, and demonstrated great faith, strength and dignity during her illness. Erin was a joyful and loving woman, with a contagious smile and laugh that filled her family and friends with happiness. Most of all, Erin loved her family and showed that love to them in the wonderful family life she created for them. Erin is survived by her husband, Peter; her children, Amelia, Declan and Frances; parents, Lawrence and Margaret Hayden, Jr.; siblings, Lisa (Eric) Miles and Lee (Malorie) Hayden; parents-in-law, Philip and Joyce Lively; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, and cousins. A funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at St. Katharine of Siena Catholic Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne, PA. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Alleva Funeral Home, 1724 East Lancaster Ave., Paoli, PA, and will continue one hour prior to the funeral at church on Saturday. Interment will follow the funeral Mass at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
