Dennis Michael “Denny” Holl, 61, passed away January 15, 2012 at Penn Wissahickon Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia.
He was the husband of Lynda (McKee) Holl, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville March 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Frederick T. and Carolyn (Burnite) Holl.
He was a 1969 graduate of Conestoga High School and a 1973 graduate of Cambridge Junior College in Boston, Mass.
Denny followed in his father's footsteps as a carpenter/general contractor, working primarily in the Main Line area. Most recently he was self employed as Dennis M. Holl Inc., Carpentry and General Contracting in Malvern.
He was a member of the Tri-Town Sportsman Club. Denny was over flowing with a joy for life, that he shared with everyone he met. He adored his children, his family and was proud of his heritage. He was a skilled carpenter and builder and loved the work that he did. His interests were never ending and ever growing - from history to collecting World War II memorabilia and restoring vintage tractors to Octoberfests with traditional costumes and learning ballroom dancing. He was loyal to the Philly sports teams - following the Eagles, the Flyers and of course the Phillies. He loved sharing good times with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Lindsey A. Holl and son, Michael D. Holl, both at home (children of Cheryl (Baynard) Holl); brothers, Patrick Holl of Conshohocken, Ronald Holl of Atlanta, Ga., Kevin Holl (Nancy) of Grand Junction, Colo.; sister Mary Wagner (Mark) of Coatesville; nephews and nieces, Joe, Jill and Max Wagner, Daniel and Erin Holl; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host in in-laws, both former and present.
