Barbara Audrey Beckwith DiCesare passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 18, 2022 at the age of 88. Barbara was the oldest child of the late Clifford Gorham Beckwith, Sr. and Margaret Anderson Beckwith. She was born on November 16, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Hudson, New York. After graduating from Plattsburgh State Teachers College, Barbara spent her career teaching Home Economics in the Newburgh, New York school system.
She was married to the late Gerald Paul DiCesare for 61 years. Barbara is survived by her daughter Patricia (DiCesare) Rolfes, her son-in-law, Andrew Rolfes and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel and Megan Rolfes who will remember fondly her wicked sense of humor, her warm smile and her kitchen on Christmas Eve.
