Ann Marie "Nancy" Gibson

Ann Marie (“Nancy”) Gibson passed away peacefully at Paoli Memorial Hospital on January 29, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Lawrence and Grace (nee Gallen) Fogerty on August 13, 1928. Nancy was a long - time resident of Malvern, PA, and a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Church. She was also a long – time employee of Immaculata University, having worked in its library and bookstore. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband Robert G. Gibson, her son Robert L. Gibson and her brother and sister – in – law Lawrence and Mary Fogerty. Nancy is survived by her sons Dennis G. (Rita) Gibson and Lawrence J. (Kyle) Gibson, daughter – in – law Melissa Mahan, and grandchildren Jacqueline Badman, Dennis G. Gibson Jr., and Robert Ryan (Meghan) Gibson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Avery and Oliver Gibson, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy’s family expresses their sincere thanks to the Paoli Memorial Hospital hospice and nursing staffs for their dedication and kindness to her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a viewing on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 11:30 to 12:30 at St. Patrick’s Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355 prior to a funeral mass. Burial will immediately follow mass at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, Nancy requested that donations be made to St. John’s Hospice, Philadelphia (https://saintjohnshospice.org), whose efforts she supported.
