We had the pleasure of meeting Amy at Danielle’s wedding all those many years ago. We remember thinking how vibrant she was and how lucky we imagined you  were to have caught her eye. Sorry for your loss.  I still remember five years ago my wife and I visited houses at your neighborhood.   That was the time two young families got to know each other.  We almost became your neighbor.  Time went by fast, but the journey Amy took and the lives she touched on in UP12 at GSK past 10 years would never be forgotten. Words cannot  explain how saddened I am hear about Amy. We went to middle school and high school and shared so many amazing memories. I also looked up to Amy! She was beautiful, confident, and so intelligent. I love you Amy, you were a beautiful soul and gone way to soon! My condolences with the Bryant and Quinn family! I pray for comfort! I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Amy while  at NIH. Amy was someone who didn't seem afraid of any challenge. She was hard-working, could be serious and silly at the appropriate times, and was really down-to-earth and honest. She gave really good, no-nonsense advice, and was always humble in her accomplishments. My heart goes out to you all in this difficult time. 

Amy was such a bright rising star when I worked with her at NIH.  She was fun, dedicated and a joy to be around.  I am so shocked and saddened by this news.   I offer my sincere condolences to her family and loved ones.

I knew Amy as a phenomenal scientist with incisive intelligence and a wry sense of humor, someone that colleagues naturally looked up to. I first met Amy at daycare as our sons were in the same class during their early toddler years.  I remember a lot of her as a great Mom who managed to handle both work and kids so well. She always tried to be there for her little ones for special events. She was an inspiration to me not only as a mom but so a working woman. I had the pleasure of working with Amy for a while during my tenure in the Penning lab, and am very saddened to hear of her passing.  She was truly a dedicated and brilliant scientist, always willing to help out, and a great mentor to everyone around her.  I most remember her thesis defense and graduation, all the smiles, laughs, and good times, and how we were so happy for her fulfilling the great accomplishment that is earning a PhD.
