Jim was born on December 21, 1944 in Wayne, Michigan. He passed away on October 22, 2015 in Palmdale, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife Sheila Mount, his parents Thomas & Mildred Mount, and his siblings Dick, Tom, Phil, and Joan. He is survived by his sons Daren, Darrell, Dave, and Donald Mount, his eight grandchildren Corey, Tiffany, Dylan, Jessica, Austin, Nolan, Kaden & Logan, and his sister Marie Smith. Jim served 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and later began a career as a Metrologist and would stay in this field for the next 25 years. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Joshua Mortuary 3150 E Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93550.
