Dr Davis was my doctor for over 20 years.  I often felt hopeless and the best gift he ever gave me was hope.  Last summer, with Zachary as a witness, he saved my hubby’s life!  I miss him!

I was very sad to learn of Dr. Davis' passing today. He had been my doctor since I was 24 years old...for 25 years. I will miss his 11:00am consultations...scheduled for 9:00am, taking my blood pressure 5 times until it finally came down, calling Benita to schedule my latest hypochondriac visit, and being able to finally call him Bill after my first hemorrhoid diagnosis :) (he knew I had a dark sense of humor).
But most of all I will miss his gentle demeanor, his calming bedside manner and his friendship. My condolences to his son and his family.

I knew Bill a long time ago. I am shocked and saddened to learn about his premature passing. 

For all his patients, this is where it all started. Bill at the University of Maryland in College Park where he was taking classes to be prepared for the MCAT. His passion was always medicine and knowing more about how the body works.

On behalf of Zach and the whole family, I wanted to thank everyone who attended Bill’s memorial service and for everyone who reached out with love and support. Thank you Rabbi Yaron for a beautiful service. The stories from countless patients praising Bill for saving their lives, caring for them, and for being their beloved doctor, was so touching. Friends and family reuniting and sharing stories and memories of Bill was heartwarming. Thank you to the US Navy for the meaningful  performance of military honors.  Our sadness will go on but may our loving memories fill the holes in our hearts. Bill may you rest in peace. ❤️

So greatful to of crossed paths with this beautiful kind human being, an angel, may his love and care for us, teach us how to treat each other.

Dr Davis was my doctor for 18 years and was the very Best doctor I have ever had. He and Benita made a wonderful team.  His entire office staff are incredible. 

Dr Davis took the time to really get to know his patients and their issues.  He was a caring and compassionate physician. 

My husband and I attended Dr Davis’ memorial service and had the pleasure of meeting some of his family including his son Zach.  Zach smiles just like his dad. 

It was so nice to see the US Navy honor guard as Dr Davis mentioned his time in the Navy frequently. 

He will be greatly missed.

Bill, So sad to hear this news. Wish I would have visited more. If only we knew. I’ll never listen to American Pie or Boston the same way. And I won’t ever forget our many conversations ranging from infancy to death. Your belief that young children should never hear the word no, and that when it’s your time it’s right. You wouldn’t be afraid or want anyone to fight it. Florida will never be the same without you and Steph. I’ll have one more giant margarita where you can’t hear anything in your honor.

The moment I found out that Dr. Davis had passed my heart broke. I have been his patient for over 10 years. He treated my mother and grandmother as well. I remember meeting him over 20+ years ago and wondering who this gorgeous man. 
I see many Doctors due to numerous medical issues and I’ve always looked forward to seeing Dr. Davis. His personality and kindness was very comforting. His knowledge I trusted above all. He saved my life! Having a stroke under the age of 50, is terrifying, Dr. Davis assured me I’d make it back and I did!! I am so grateful for all that he did for me and I will miss him very much. During my last appointment , in January he comforted  me , I was having personal issues with my son and we often talked about them as they are the same age. I am sending my deepest sympathies to his son who he talked about every time I saw him. He was so proud of his son, I never met him, but he talked about him at every visit. He  was one of the good guys. He truly cared about his patients and I would have waited all day for him. Fly high

I found Dr Davis when I moved 9 years ago. His smile & demeanor made me realize that I found the best. He always listened & would give me the confidence in his diagnosis.. not only as a doctor but in a way a friend would. Taking time to discuss not only my life but share what he was doing too. Dr. Davis & Bettina were the perfect compliment for one another. My condolences & prayers for his family & those in the office that will miss him. I know that his patients will miss him too.

My sincere condolence to Dr Davis' family and staff, especially Benita who like me, had him in our lives for 30 years. He was a wonderful person and doctor, always spending as much time as necessary to answer any questions or concerns. We would talk about our family's as though they were one. He will be dearly missed and in my prayers forever.

I will always remember you driving up while I was walking in the parking lot playing Rap Music and showing me how you can turn down the sound with the motion of you waiving your arms & hands! I saw you push each day. I even offered to carry your bag up the three flights of stairs and you would tell me it’s ok it was your exercise you needed to build your strength! I’ve worked with you for almost 16yrs now! I have nothing but happy memories!! Dr Davis you will always be my favorite Dr to have worked with!!! You will forever be missed!!! Luv Dr.D

As we fondly remember Dr Davis, we cannot help but be grateful for the impact he had on us. His presence brought comfort, his knowledge saved lives, and his love nurtured not just patients, but also those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

As recent residents of WPB, my husband and I were lucky enough to have Dr. Davis as our PCP. He was our beautiful gentle giant. So easy to talk to.  So helpful and smart. He was hands on, a wonderful diagnostician with a terrific bedside manner.  He shared stories of the love of his wonderful son and family. We knew of his ill health but were shocked to learn of his passing - so young. He will be missed.

The loss of Dr. "Duke" Davis is hard to bear. He was, in my opinion
the Doctor's Doctor. He was the best of the best.
When I first met this tall dark and handsome man I said to  my self could this be a doctor?  I found out soon enough how special he was .
For 20 years he was special. He knew everything about everything ,except who Gene Krupa was. I sent him articles about the drummer. I think he really knew and was teasing me.
We all will miss him especially Zachery. My condolences to Bill's family. Rest in peace.

I considered Billy a brother.  We grow up across the street together.  He was 10 days older than me and never let me forget it😊  So many of my favorite childhood memories involved Billy and his quirky personality,  which I loved❤  rest in peace Billy!!

Dr. Davis was my parent's doctor and mine as well. I remember the first time I stepped into Dr. Davis's office for my appointment.  I refused to allow him to do my internal exam. He couldn't understand why. I shared my reasons with Benita (he was too close to my age, young and too cute).  He and I often laughed about that throughout the years.  I always enjoyed giving it to him at my appointments for making me wait and would state my mind on how my time is valuable. Dr. Davis would chuckle and grin. He knew I was right. We would enjoy talking sports even if we routed for opposing teams. Jabbing each other just came natural to us. My mom had a special relationship with him as well. They would talk about everything under the sun at her visits. She made sure on his 50th birthday that we surprised him with balloons and gifts. He was more than a doctor to us. He was a friend. He would share stories about his son whom he adored and was proud of. He would beam from ear to ear whenever he spoke about Zackary. We heard about ski trips, family time, vacations and so much more. Dr. Davis was definitely one of a kind.  Dr. Davis treated all his patience with respect and dignity. We were more than a number. We were important and he cared.  Dr. Davis will surely be missed but not forgotten. My heartfelt condolences to Zackary, his family and the staff especially Benita who worked by his side daily.  May Dr. Davis Rest in Peace and soar.
