Marvin E. Werlinsky D.O. “Doc” 74 of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2013 after an extended illness. Marvin was born May 12, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA to Irvin and Anna (Seltzer) Werlinsky who were both pharmacists. He graduated from Yeadon High School and then continued his education graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he specialized in family practice. In 1966 he started practicing in Aldan, Pennsylvania. He became board certified in Family Practice in 1976. In 1976, Doc moved to Florida and opened his first office on Singer Island and then in 1983 opened another office in West Palm Beach. He continued seeing patients at these two offices until June 2013 when he retired due to health reasons. Marvin would have practiced medicine forever if he could as he so enjoyed his patients. Doc love sports, he loved to sail and was an avid golfer. He leaves behind to celebrate and cherish his life, Paula Werlinsky, wife of 23 years, his two children whom he was so proud of, daughter, Joan Werlinsky and son, Seth Werlinsky, his three step-daughters who he raised as his own Alissa Sinn, Dana Sinn and Ashley (Brian) Gibbons and he was the best Bepa to his 3 grandchildren Cole Pollard, Matilda Pollard and Kai Werlinsky and daddy to Rocky, his puppy.
