We were so  devasted to hear  of  Aunt Lydia's passing. I remember as a teenager sitting at the kitchen table when my Uncle Jerry  told me he met this lovely woman at a singles weekend at the Concord  Hotel. See Uncle Jerry was my father's brother and we were taking care of him after a recent heart attack. I told him that I wanted him to call her again because she seemed like a nice lady. He listened to me and they went on to get married. Aunt Lydia was a very caring and thoughtful person. She always worried about her extended family even though they moved to Florida. She was so concerned about others that she never led on about herself. She was a very intelligent and generous woman. I grateful for the time my uncle had with her. She was a wonderful aunt and I wish she lived closer. Rest in peace you will truly be missed.

I am so heartbroken to learn of Lydia's passing. I was there the day she married my mother's brother, my Uncle Jerry, and she was one of the loveliest women I had ever seen. I soon came to learn that beauty shone from within, because she was so truly kind, intelligent and warm-hearted. She filled a room with sunshine when she entered, with her warmth and sense of humor. I am so grieved that I can't be there to say good bye to her or to share memories with her family who I have never met.
I will visit her grave and say Kaddish in November when I will be able to get to Florida. Please convey deepest sympathy to her family from mine.
