Benita "Bonnie" Jaffe, 81, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away peacefully at her home May 7th.2017. She was born in Philadelphia, PA May 12, 1935. She earned her BA at Temple University and taught elementary education until moving to Florida in 1973. There, she and and her husband, Ron, became partners in Capitol Lighting in West Palm Beach and Stuart until her retirement 40 years later. After her retirement she continued to stay busy volunteering 5 days a week splitting her time between two places she held dear to her heart, Hospice of Palm Beach County and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron. Bonnie was a devoted mother to Eric (wife, Arlene), and Stacey; sister to Janet Polis; and loving grandmother to Ryan and Dani Jaffe. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:30pm at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, FL. 33412. Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County or Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
