Wyn, a nickname she preferred, was born to parents James & Winifred Lynch in Woodside, New York. She graduated from Wellington C. Mepham High School in 1971. Wyn married Patrick Pilosi in 1973 and celebrated 45 years of marriage this past November. She is survived by her loving husband Patrick, two daughters Maureen and Meghan, and four beautiful grandchildren Jorja, Maddux, August, and Sahara. Wyn and her family lived in New York, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Florida. Wyn was one of the few who hand wrote letters and had numerous Pen Pals.
Writing letters to her Pen Pals was a form of relaxation to Wyn. She also collected Snowmen, Precious Moments and Snow Baby figurines, Lighthouses and Teapots. Her favorite color was blue and had a Nautical décor around her home. Wyn absolutely loved walking on the beach, listening to the calming waves and sunsets.
Wyn spent most of her years raising her daughters in Florida. Before children Wyn worked in Banking, Retail, and in Customer Service for large Corporations. She was a wonderful mother who always put her family first. Wyn was a loving “Nana” and so proud of her grandchildren. The way she cared for her loved ones and others was unmatched and unconditional. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and the ability to see the positive in every situation. She always wore a smile, and knew no stranger. She brought a light and warmth into the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends today, tomorrow and forever.
In lieu of flowers, our family is suggesting a donation to "The National Kidney Foundation" and/or "Bascom Palmer Eye Institute" Organization to honor Wyn Pilosi's Life.
