William (Bill) was born in Davenport, Iowa, and moved to Florida in the 1960s. Architecture was his passion and his life’s work for many decades. Bill kept his office open in Fort Lauderdale after moving to Palm Bay in 2008. He designed numerous restaurants, custom homes and buildings in South Florida. He had a reputation for being fair and honest. He derived great pleasure in helping clients of small means and often with little payment.
Bill will be dearly missed by his family that loved him so much. He was preceded in death by son Wayne and nephew AJ. He is survived by his wife Shirley, his sons William J. Osborn and wife Jodi of Winterhaven, Glen Osborn of Boca Raton, his stepson Wyatt Grant and wife Lisa of Tampa, his step-daughter Shirlen Burrows and husband Johnny of Palm Bay, his sister Jill Abbott of Bettendorf, Iowa, his grandchildren Angela, Aaron, Cheyenne, William II, Benjamin, Christina, Luke and Mark, sister-in-law Ruth Wyatt of Lake Worth, friend Sandra Clayton, and his loving neighbors the David Hill family.
Bill will be missed by his dogs Cocoa, Chanel and Chloe’, and cats Kitty, Teddy and Bootsy.
Bill attended the Minton congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Palm Bay. A visitation will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday February 17, 2012. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18th in the funeral home chapel.
Bill’s family would like to especially thank the staff on D6 and D7 at Holmes Regional for their exceptional care and kindness.
