William M. Elliott passed away peacefully at home on 10/11/2023 at the age of 93. He is survived by his son Bill, his daughter Mary and has 6 grandchildren. He was born 2/6/1930 in Rumford Maine. After graduating from high school in Rumford he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and served from 10/27/1949 to 11/3/1952 as an Engineman 2nd Class. Over the next three years he married Alicia Morrill, graduated with his associate degree in electrical engineering, had his first child (William) and accepted a position with North Electric in Galion, Ohio. After nine successful years at North Electric, having his 2nd child (Mary), North Electric was purchased by Radiation Incorporated in Melbourne, Florida. Later, Radiation merged with Harris Corporation where he worked for over 35 years. William loved boating and owned 2 boats in Florida and one in Maine. William enjoyed his work, travel, boats, fishing, building many structures and having big parties with his family. He was well traveled but his heart was always at his camp on the lake at Roxbury Maine where he spent every summer with Alicia.
