Ruby May Campbell was born on February 27, 1921 to Jeremiah Campbell and Verona Pink. In Hunts Town DRESSIKEE, Saint Mary, Jamaica. She is predeceased by mother, father, sisters and brothers. She married Carlos Clarke from Birthday Portland, Jamaica on August 1946. She had six children Calvin Clarke deceased, Franklin Clarke of Vero Beach, Hiaasen Brown of Sebastian, Hyancinth Taylor of Fort Lauderdale, Beverly Clarke deceased, and Pauline Cochrane of Malabar, Florida.
Ruby migrated to USA and became a US citizen in April 28, 1977. She remarried in May 1978 to William Monroe. She moved from Jamaica to Liberty, New York; after working as a nanny and housekeeper in homes and hotels, she became a CNA and worked at hospitals, then came to Florida about 1985 and bought a home in Sebastian. Continuing her nursing aide study and work, Ruby became a Seventh-Day Adventist her childhood faith. Enjoying Vero Beach SDA church, she live she loved flea market ministry going out with Willie to give out books and tracks, and she also loved prison ministry. Ruby had a huge heart and love to give and love to help. Ruby loves music and dance and listen to everything gospel to the gators Kirk Franklin and other Sabbath sing-along‘s. Her favorite hymns greatest I faithfulness and abide with me her favorite Bible prayers she would say every night Psalms 23 she repeats even by herself.
She left behind three daughters and one son and one niece Daphne and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of caring for her patients and volunteering well into her late 80s.
A visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
