Ronald R. Robertson

Ron was born in Greenville, North Carolina on October 18, 1941. He was the son of Dennis and Roxie Robertson. He graduated from Winterville High School in 1960. He lived in the DC/Maryland area from 1960 to 2001. Ron worked for Safeway for 25 years then went on to retire from John Driggs Company in 2001.

Ron was known for loving his hometown sports teams, attending country music concerts, and staying active working in the yard. He will always be remembered for his love of telling a good joke and his fierce love for his family.

Ron is survived by his wife, Shirley (Wood) Robertson; children, Brenda Matcke (Alan), Ronald Robertson, Jr. (Dennis), Glenn Truelove (Michele); Grandchildren, Cole Parker (Cameron), Dallas Truelove (Courtney), Lesley Truelove (Logan); great-grandchildren, Avery, Corabelle, and Lake.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
