He was born on March 13, 1930 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Rod served his country in the U.S. Army in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, and retired from active duty as Master Sergeant.
Rod is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Florence; his children, Terri, Tim, and Debbie; daughter-in-law, Pam; son-in-law, Jimmie; his grandchildren, Shelley, Stephanie, Caleb, Olivia, Sarah, and Seth; and his great-grandson and favorite fighting playmate, Landis. He was preceded in death by his son, Chip, on June 8, 2001.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm, with a funeral service on Wednesday, November 18th at 11:00am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
