Raymond Webb

Raymond Webb, (affectionately known as “Pop”), was born on September 16, 1946, to George and Tinnie Webb in Archer, Florida. His parents preceded him in death, and he departed this earthly life on April 14, 2025. Raymond was baptized at an early age at Fort Clarke Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville, Florida. He enjoyed church.

He was educated in Alachua County Gainesville Public Schools. He graduated from Lincoln High School, then joined the U.S. Air Force, working as an Aircraft Mechanic and later advanced to Materials Management. He retired from the Air Force and was employed by Holmes Regional Medical Center in Palm Bay. After working 22 years there, he retired, again. Cherishing his sweet memories is his wife of 48 years, Doris Underwood Webb; a loving father of three children: Devita (Jonathan) Rodrigues, Rafael (Erica) Webb, and Melvin (Maia-Leigh) Webb; Sisters: Eartha Mae Hutchinson, and Melvina Blanch of Tennessee; Brothers: Clarence (Barbara Henry) Williams, and Bruce Webb; Sister-in-law, Sandra (John) Williams; grandchildren: Symone, Miliani, Kaylee, Darren, and Josiah; Nieces & Nephews: Sylvia (Michael, Sr.) Whitehead, Aaron (Shuwanda) Miles, Jr., Sylvester Miles, Jearl Miles (J.J.) Clark (California), Clisby Ray (LaChelle) Miles; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. With a funeral service at 2:00 PM, A committal service will be at 3:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
