Paul Nunn - MELBOURNE BEACH, FL-
Paul K. Nunn, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30
after a 4 year battle with cancer. He was born on March 15, 1934 to
Homer and Irene Nunn in Oxford, Iowa. Paul was a proud Iowa Hawkeye
that spent his first career as a petrochemical engineer and executive
at Exxon. He was a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ guy that relished all aspects of
living in Florida when he wasn’t away traveling the world. His true
focus was philanthropy and answering God’s call with a second career in
service to the church.
Paul is survived by Lorna, his wife of 56 years; his sons Brad,
Doug, and AJ; his daughter-in-laws Donna, Janette, and Heather; his
grandchildren Chris, Kim, Mike, Matt, Josh, Emily, and Zach. Paul was
predeceased by his son Steve.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel by the Sea at 2:30 pm on
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s
memory may be made to Chapel by the Sea or the William Childs Hospice
House.
