Marietta Ballard Rose, 90, of Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away Tuesday December 10, 2013 at her home. Born in Burlington, Vermont, she worked as a bookkeeper for Fletcher Allen Hospital where she later retired. Marietta moved to Florida in 1978 where she began working as a Bookkeeper for W. T. Shively Insurance. In her pass time she enjoyed reading, knitting and horseback riding.
She is survived by her Niece Janice and her husband Tim Mulcahy of Barefoot Bay FL, two nephews Marshall and Patricia Rose of Micco FL, and Irving and Karen Rose of Barefoot Bay FL; and other nieces and nephews. Preceded her in death, her husband Harold (Bart) Rose and her sister Eleanor Rose.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 with visitation at 1:00pm and services at 2:00 pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay.
