Mr. Loren Barkman Davis

Celebrating the life of Loren Barkman Davis (1-16-1923 – 11-12-2014) Loren Barkman Davis departed this life for his eternal rest on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House. Loren was born in Oakwood, Illinois to the loving parents of James and Dora Davis. After finishing high school Loren enlisted into the US Air force and began his travel over the world to such places as China, Central Burma and India. After serving his country for four years he came home to the love of his life Eleanor Davis. They joined in matrimony in 1946 and began their journey thru life as a loving couple for 68 years.

Loren enjoyed playing his guitar, playing dominos with his family, sports, working in the yard and watching his grandkids play baseball.

Loren leaves to mourn his loving wife Eleanor Davis, one daughter Vicki and her husband Doyle of Pensacola, FL; four boys James William Davis and his wife Joan; John R. Davis of Palm Bay, FL; Thomas Lee Davis and wife Kimberly of Savannah, GA; and Michael Stephen Davis and Wife Dee Dee both of Melbourne, FL.

Services will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel this Sunday, November 16, 2014. Visitation will began at 10:30 with services to follow at 11:00am.
