Larry Michael Moser passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 20, 2019. Larry was born in Burlington, N.C. on May 27, 1935, and moved his family to Brevard County in 1960. He resided in Melbourne Village for 30 years and was very active in his community, serving as President of the Association and Chairman of the Budget and Finance committee for many years. Larry and his wife were dedicated members and supporters of their church, and he served as deacon and treasurer. They volunteered at Meals on Wheels for 11 years, delivering meals to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Larry earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Rollins College. He retired from Harris Controls and Composition as Director of Manufacturing after 34 years of employment. Larry shared great stories of his earlier years going to school to study electronics in Chicago and later working for RCA “down-range” in Grand Bahama and St. Lucia. Larry lived an active life; He loved cars, motorcycles, camping in the Keys, boating, scuba diving, target shooting, gun shows, a good gin martini, and Junkin’. For many years, he and his wife enjoyed traveling across the U.S. in their RV. One of the highlights was wading in the Moser River on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Larry will be remembered as a charitable man, always willing to give support to his family, church, and community. His daughters describe him as wise, strong, determined, fair, honest, sharp-witted, and fun to be around. He was a great storyteller, a good listener, a problem solver, and a very best friend. We will miss him dearly. Larry was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruby Moser and his wife Ann Marie Moser of 43 years. He is survived by his three daughters Debi Christian, Robin Moser, and Tammy Mullon, son-in-law Bill Mullon, grandchildren Chandler, Quentin, Olivia Mullon, and stepdaughter Jean Scott.
