Kevin Patrick Cummings, age 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Snug Harbor, Micco, FL on January 11. Born in Bangor, ME, he was the son of Joseph Harry and Christine Anne Cummings of Nashua, NH.
Kevin graduated from New Hampshire College with a degree in Business Administration. He was a sales and marketing professional, having worked for a variety of technical companies with a focus on technical equipment and software sales to the federal government and department of defense, including HP, Digital Consulting Services and Cisco Systems. His most recent role as a realtor for LaRocque & Co., allowed him to leverage his sales experience in support of families in their search for a home on the space coast.
Kevin embodied his strong Irish heritage in all of his endeavors. He was a passionate New England sports fan and avid supporter for local sports teams, including coaching boys' varsity basketball as a volunteer for Sebastian River High School. Kevin was also a communicant of St Joseph’s Catholic church in Palm Bay, FL.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Brianna Cummings and her significant other Matthew Carrubba and his grandchildren, Matthew Jr and Shayla Carrubba, of Palm Bay, and his son, Cameron Cummings, also of Palm Bay. Susan Cummings, Palm Bay, his former wife, who's love and support during Kevin's final days was a blessing to all. Kevin is also survived by his siblings, Greg and Debbie Cummings, Millinocket, ME, Barbara and Sergi Filonow, Nashua, NH, Stephen and Sherry Cummings, Sebastian, FL, and Stacy and Charles Cummings-Leach, Nashua, NH, and multiple nieces and nephews. Kevin was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial mass will be held at St Joseph's church in Palm Bay on Thursday, February 3 at 1 pm. A reception with light refreshments will follow for family and friends at the Fountainhead Funeral Home at 7359 Babcock Street in Palm Bay.
