Joyce Joy Ann Davis

She worked as a teacher’s assistant before retiring to enjoy her time gardening, reading, and volunteering. Joy loved keeping in touch and spending time with family and friends. She was a long-standing member of Community Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Davis; 2 sons: Jeff and Tony Davis; granddaughter, Kara Emory; and sister, Patty (Arnold) Playforth.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Emory of Melbourne; 2 brothers: Darrell (Dotty) Wright and Barry(Sherree) Wright; 4 sisters: Gwenda (Fred) Castle, Sharron (Allen) Riddle, Carroll (Claude) Brown, and Sherry (James) Castle; granddaughter, Krista(Marsha)Emory; a very special friend, Doug Adkins; and many nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Community Church of God: 455 Audubon Drive, Melbourne, FL 32901.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joy’s honor to the Community Church of God.
