Jonathan J. Robinson, 103, of Melbourne, FL, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Consulate Health Care. He was a native of Charleston, SC.
He worked as a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse in New York City and upon retirement in 1983 he moved to Melbourne, FL. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay, Fl. He was the founder of the Jonathan Robinson’s Theatrical Workshop and was an honorary founding member of the Democratic Women’s Club of Palm Bay.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Robinson.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marylou Robinson of Melbourne, FL; 2 sons: Eugene Williams of NJ and Theodore (Kimberly) Robinson of Canada; 2 daughters: Sharon (Robert Martin) Barnhill of AL and Sheila (Lawrence) James of VA; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Saturday (3/29) at 11AM for visitation followed by a funeral service at 12PM.
