John G Sheppard

John is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Darlene; and his children and their families: Jackie Greene (husband, Jim, and children, Maya and Hannah), Jimmie Sheppard (wife, Ronda, and child, Jaxson), and Chris Sheppard (wife, Debbie, and children, Emily and William); and siblings, James Sheppard and Nancy Cunningham.

John is honorably retired from the US Marine Corps after serving in the Vietnam War. He retired in 1995 from the US Post Office after 25 years of service.

John was an active member of Ascension Ministries including the Military Ministries, Eucharistic Adoration, and serving as a Board Member of Ascension Manor.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20th from 6pm to 8pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL. Mass of Christian Burial and rendering of Military Honors will be Thursday, September 21st at 11am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Health First Hospice would be deeply appreciated.
