Born in Meriden Ct, he was the son of John and Barbara David. He graduated Enfield High School in 1964. He was proud to be part of the United States Air Force. He retired from Pratt and Whitney in 2002 as a financial analyst.
He was an avid golfer, loved to play softball growing up. Him and his wife had a heart of gold, they
fostered many children including all of his before adopting them. He was a dedicated husband/father/family member/friend who put everyone's concerns before his. He loved his poker nights. He was a big Giants and Yankees fan. He was a member of The American Legion post 394.
He leaves behind a sister, Dayle Swain and six children: Joshua David of Richmond, Virginia, Daniel David of Palm Bay, Florida, Jonathan David of Palm Bay, Florida, Matthew David of Palm Bay, Florida, Bethany David of Palm Bay, Florida, and Sarah David of Melbourne, Florida. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a final viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Both will take place at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida, 32909 with interment directly after.
