Jessica Leanne Salter

On July 15,2022, Jessica Leanne Salter, 45, found peace after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Melbourne, Florida on April 20, 1977, she kept a love of the beach throughout her life. As her mother's first child, Jessica grew up to be an affectionate, responsible, compassionate, encouraging and a genuine friend.

Jessica's family settle in Brevard, NC where she graduated Brevard High School in 1994. She then began a family of her own and raised her children in Palm Bay, FL.

With a strong work ethic and an even stronger drive for fun, Jessica was always a VIP. She shared her feelings with others and made great efforts to create memories of good times. She loved the ocean, the sky, a cozy bed and rom-coms; and she loved love. In a world full of people that she treasured dearly, her most favorite were her kids, her "corn-nuggets".

She is survived by her children Megan, Ryan and Ethan; her parents Michelle and Al Commesso, and siblings: Andrew, Angelina, Sara, William, and Matthew Commesso, many nieces and nephews: Luke, Mykailee, Simon, Emily, Koen, Piper, Abbott, Sophia and Willow. Jessica was also known as "Mama" to many of her children's friends, who held a special place in her heart. She also loved her fur-babies: Bella, Rafiki, Dexter, Stella, and Scarlett.

She was preceded in death by her father Tom Swails.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The american Cancer Society or any local animal shelter of your choice.

A celebration of life for Jessica will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, followed by a gathering from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
