Jean Ann Goodridge

Jean Ann Goodridge, 71, of Palm Bay, FL went "home," Wednesday, October 9, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Coalinga, CA, Jean moved to Palm Bay in the late 70’s from San Jose, CA.

Jean attended the First Baptist Church of Indialantic shortly after moving to Palm Bay. She worked at Harris Corporation for many years as a Word Processor in the Proposal Center, where she became friends with many people. She enjoyed garage sales, buying & selling on Ebay, collecting cookbooks, recipes & Dept. 56 villages. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved the Maggie Valley area in North Carolina. Jean will be remembered for her kind spirit, as well as the love and care she showed her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert “Bob” Goodridge of Palm Bay; son: Jeffrey (Jeanne) Homan of Palm Bay; daughters: Cherri Rodriguez and Tiffany Riggleman; brother: Lawrence (Rebecca) Moon of Tucson, AZ; and a host of grandchildren and extended family members.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay (October 26 at 2:00 pm). The family requests those in attendance to dress in colorful attire, to honor Jean's zest for life and fun as well as her tremendous sense of humor.
