George "Mac" McAleney

Mac was born on March 3, 1943 in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

He grew up in Squantam and Quincy, Massachusetts and moved to Palm Bay nine years ago from Lynn, Massachusetts.

Mac retired as an Equipment Installer with Verizon in Boston, Massachusetts after 40 years of service.

He was a member of the I.B.E.W.

Mac is survived by his wife of forty years, Jere McAleney of Palm Bay, Florida; daughter Sheila McAleney of Melbourne, Florida; stepson Nicholas Norod of Ilion, New York; granddaughter Hannah LeBeau of Melbourne, Florida; step grandsons Jeremy and Kyle Nunno Norod of Syracuse, New York.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Mac will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm Sunday October 11, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, Florida.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to any A.S.P.C.A. at the national or local level.
