A time to be born: Our beloved Frelin Vincent Brown was born on April 3, 1956 in Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Brown and Priscilla Brown.
A time for academics: He attended the Naval School of Health Science, 1976 – 1978, and was a naval Hospital Corpsman/Clinical Laboratory Technician; the North Carolina Wesleyan College, 1986 – 1990, earning his B.S. in Computer Information System; the Rex Healthcare for Histology Training; the Space Coast Pathologist , entering the PA Training Program. Frelin was employed as a P.A. for 11 years at Space Coast Pathologist and maintained his Professional Membership ASCP Histology Technician.
A time for sharing: Frelin enjoyed sport fishing and was always true to his hobby of deep sea fishing. He started fishing at an early age and continued to fish at every opportunity until his death. He has caught bass, a 650 lb blue marlin, amberjack and Bluefin tuna. He loved fishing as he loved life.
A time for marriage and family: on April 4, 2003, Frelin Vincent Brown married Rosella “Rose” Weaver. They shared a life together that almost lasted 11 years. He was blessed to share and unite with Rosella’s son Christopher Desmond Tyson of Greenville, NC. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Anthony Brown, in addition to Rosella and Christopher, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters: Cristal Brown of Durham, NC, Felicia Washington of Jacksonville, NC; five grandchildren: Kieara Nichols, Arianne Washington, Saniyah Washington, Makayla Washington, Aniah Tyson; sister: Renee Brown of Palm Bay; step daughter-in-law: Shantelea Pittman; mother-in-law: Sallie Louise Weaver; sisters-in-law: Fannie yarrell-Walter, Joyce Wright-Herbert, Sallie Hines all of Greenville, NC; brother-in-law: Alfonza Weaver, Jr of Greenville, NC; best friends as brothers: Calvin Edward (Vanessa), Robert Marshall (Neddie), Ray (Tasha), Dennis Mitchell, and Herbert Thanes.
A time to depart: Frelin departed this life on Saturday, March 22, 2014 when our precious Lord decided it was time for our beloved Frelin to come home and rest with him. He fought a long and hard battle of illness and left this earth with the grace in which he entered it. May he forever rest in peace. For friends who wish, in lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the special fund set up to care for his dogs: RJ, Roxie, Muffin, and Dalton Brown.
