I just heard of Frank’s passing tonight.  To say I am heartbroken is an understatement.   Frank was one of my best friend’s all through high school.  We were together all the time but we’d lost touch  after he enrolled in the service.  Although we weren’t in touch, there was never a doubt in my mind that we’d either see each other again, or at the very least, be in touch at some point in the future.  So many great memories, I’m at a total loss for words. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.   I’m not sure if his mom and Laura are still here, or were still in his life, but if so, please know my how sorry I am.

As neighbors for many years Frank and I became close friends. We walked our dogs together almost every morning. When my wife Vickie retired she also walked our dog with Frank. I'd spend time with him nearly every day sharing a beer now and then and chatting about everything close friends talked about. I still remember the Halloween parties Randi and Frank held for the immediate neighbors. He fixed my computers, exchanged tools for various needs and when we took an occasional vacation he watched our pooch. He had the reputation of not being outgoing or people oriented...you could never prove that by me.
