Palm Bay

Frank Ferrante passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2015, at his home. Born July 30, 1937 to Carmella (Saponaro) and Joseph Ferrante in the Bronx, New York. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria, after just celebrating their 55th Anniversary. Survivors also include his children Michelle (Jeff) Martin and Joseph (April) Ferrante. His precious grandchildren, Casey and Nicholas Ferrante and Samantha and Sydney Martin. His sisters Rose (Fran) Tampone of Morganville, NJ and Lucille Martin of West Yarmouth, MA. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews who were so loved. Many wonderful friends and co-workers.

Frank served 4 years in the Navy. His career was a Professional Hairstylist, owning 5 Hair Salons, with his wife, over a 50 year span, the last was Family Hair Affair in Melbourne. Frank also was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, St Joseph's Council in Palm Bay, serving as Faithful Navigator of J.F.K. Assembly in Melbourne and also St. John Paul Assembly in Palm Bay. Frank also was a long time member of the Sons of Italy Organization in Palm Bay and served many years as an usher at the 11:30 Mass at St Josephs Catholic Church.

Visitation Hours will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909 on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, from 5-8PM. Mass will be on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:30AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 5310 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905, immediately following burial services will be held at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay, FL 32909. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Knights of Columbus, St Josephs Council P.O. Box 060778, Palm Bay, FL 32906-0778 or St. Josephs' Catholic Church.
