Ermine was born on the beautiful island of St.Vincent and the Grenadines. She was the daughter of Obediah Jacobs and Mary Lillith King-Simon. She attended VEEB in New York where she graduated and passed her boards to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at the Jewish Institute for Geriatric Care in New Hyde Park, New York until she relocated to Palm Bay, Florida in 1986. Ermine worked at Medic Home in Melbourne, Florida until her retirement in 1991.
Ermine was a member of the Palm Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed traveling back several times a year to her home in St. Vincent. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to give of her time and possessions.
She is survived by two brothers, Ezekiel and Jeshua King; five sisters: Serene Robinson, Silvinia King, Venita King, Christine Jacobs, and Cynthia Jacobs; four children: Annis Jacobs-Cabral (Renrick), Cora Hinds (Flynn), Brian Jacobs Sr. (Sharron); and Edmund Fitz-Allan Small; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friends and extended families in the Caribbean and the U.S.A.
Ermine will be missed by her family and friends and may her soul rest in eternal peace until Christ returns.
