Edward R. Dobson

Edward Dobson was born on July 11, 1959 in Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Edward Dobson and Shirley Dobson. Edward was known as Ricky by everyone that loved him. Ricky migrated to the United States and settled in Alabama where he graduated from Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama after which he joined the Marines. Returning to Brooklyn, NY where he worked at ConEdison until he retired. He later moved to warm, sunny Palm Bay, FL to enjoy his retirement. Ricky loved the simple things in life, he loved cooking, exercising, gardening, watching Gunsmoke and spending time with family and friends.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Gem Dobson, 3 children, Kebba Dobson, Robert Walker (Munyion) and Steffonya Dobson, 4 siblings, Diana Cameron, Tania Morgan, Lloyd Dobson and Claudette Phipps, 2 grandchildren, Sahara Walker, Noah Bumbury, Nieces and Nephews and a host of Family and Friends.

Edward Dobson left Planet Earth on May 6th, 2022 to be with his Lord and Savior.

A visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
