She was born March 3, 1938, to Albert and Connie Doddato, in Brooklyn, NY. She was the middle child of three.
She graduated from Jamaica High School, in Queens, NY before going to work at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, in New York City.
She and her husband, John Struckman, were married in 1964 and had two children: John II and Michael. The family moved to Palm Bay, FL in 1978. She was a bookkeeper for Krieger Publishing, in Malabar, FL, for over 30 years. In addition to working, she was a Palm Bay High School band parent for her sons. Dianne loved to cook (her portions would never leave anyone hungry). She also was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, love to shop, loved to quilt, loved building her seasonal Christmas Village displays each year, and enjoyed her daily sudoku. Dianne was the kind of person who never knew a stranger and would know their entire life story in no time. Dianne was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, John (Katie) Struckman and Michael (Tammy) Struckman, her brother James (Cecile) Doddato, and her five grandchildren, Hannah, John III, James, Ryan, and Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Albert and Connie; and her brother, Albert.
A visitation for Dianne will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1710 Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901.
