You will be missed Dawn you were the best big sister anyone could’ve had I love you with all my heart and soul still doesn’t seem real, but God has taken you home and you are a piece now you will never be forgotten and I will never forget all the good times we had driving around listening to music just chatting you’re the best. Dawn, my love, my heart, my life.  
You are my soulmate, my better half, my protector and the most thoughtful, funny, caring, loud and sarcastic blue-eyed angel that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving.
Your photos brought joy to hundreds and I'm so glad that we got to enjoy as many adventures as we did during our brief time together.
There is more than a whole in my heart, as my whole heart has been ripped out of my now weakened body that is trying desperately to survive without you.
No words can express the pain that I am feeling now and that I will continue to feel forever until we meet again.
Please look over us now and enjoy your time in heaven with Matthew and your family.  I am glad that you are now free from pain and able to walk and hopefully fly amongst the other angels.
The yellow rose is one of your beautiful pictures from our 5th Anniversary rose bush in front of the house.  I shall cherish each yellow blossom and know that you are loving them from above as well.

This is going on my wall because of how much you adored the chest this was on and simply because you are the first friend who truly held the key to my heart. I will forever look at this picture and laugh because you said you said you'd give your left boob for the chest it was on, not knowing that right behind you was an even more amazing chest that you TOTALLY did not see! But, I caught it for you lol. I love and miss you dearly my friend.

    I met Dawn on FB, her pics and adventure brought me to warn her about being careful in certain areas. A native of Summerville, I saw her tallent and praised her on it many days. She is a very tallent driven photographer! 
     We discussed our differences in all things, but understanding each other over the difference.   She honestly had an open mind to me, and I felt a good vibe talking with her… not many folks like her ! 
    God bless you Dawn, I will miss your pics and your wit !!  Bless her family and friends, I’ll not forget you 🙏🙏

This was a comment from Dawn, on Facebook only a couple of days prior to her passing.  This is what I shared and it is still my heartfelt feelings. I think about Dawn so often. 
She used to live in Summerville. SC as well as I, but we just never got to meet and take pictures of birds together. She moved shortly after to Florida but never stopped bantering me over my backyard eagles and pictures I would take that she didn't ;) I heard that she just suddenly passed away this morning. Like what?? How can someone larger then life, that many times kept me on my photography toes, who recommended the camera I got because she loved hers so much before she upgraded. Who loved her partner Vicki Ouellette (a fellow New Englander from Maine) so freaking much, who had recently lost multiple family members and a young son years back, but was still enjoying life to her best ability. Who loved their cats, plants, flowers, and people she met that she called friends. Who seemed to always be in FB jail because she never hesitated to say what was on her mind. May she fly with those eagles, and be embraced by her loved ones who have already passed to the other realm. May the powers that be wrap their loving arms around Vicki and her other family to help th through this loss. And her friends as well because she sure seemed to have a lot of people that loved her. RIP Dawn Roberts 💔

Gosh, what can happen in an instance affects people forever.

I met Dawn back when she worked at Northridge Raw Bar. We became quick friends I was her Dawn Marieski and she was my Dawn Reneeski. We lost contact once Northridge closed but found each other again on facebook. I was so happy that she had found her soulmate Vicki, she was so happy and finally being able to enjoy life with the one she loved more then anything. I will miss her beautiful photos, I always told her she needed to display them, guess she just wanted to share with those close to her. 
Vicki there are no words to express how I hurt for you, as I told you before you will always be family because you were a part of Dawn and she was my Northrige family. RIP Dawn Reneeski, you will never be forgotten ❤

Bless your sweet heart my friend  I will always cherish the time we had together and I will always remember how you kept me going through my son's illness and passing and though we went our separate ways we found each other again and lady it was like we never parted ways you had a wonderful wonderful heart and soul you touched my life in such a magical way I will forever love and cherish our friendship say hey to the boys for me fly high my friend <3 RIP my friend til we meet again <3

I met dawn on Facebook and we always had nice chats about photography and other things , I told her about a black bear my Dad and had raised and donated to charlestown landing several years before Dawn and I had met ,  then one sat we Met Dawn  amd Vickie at Charlestown landing so she could meet Tupelo in person , we called him Bubba when he was growing up but they changed his name to Tupelo at the animal park at Charlestown landing, Dawns friend Lucia also made the trip with us, that was an awesome day for me personally to have finally met Dawn  in person, what a super personality, it was like we’ve known each other for years, Vicki, just wanted Dawn to see the most recent pic of Tupelo that was sent to me from a friend at Charlestown landing, I think Dawn would like this, Vicki I’m so sorry for your loss and want you to know Dawn will always have a special place in my heart and you’ll always be a friend to us , I pray the lord gives you peace and comfort through the weeks, months and years ahead , I always enjoyed Dawns cracking up on Lucia and others , she will be missed and is loved by many, Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again, love chuck ❤️

What to say about Dawn, I only knew her from the Pompano Beach Elks lodge.  She was such fun to be around, hard working & such quick wit.  She never held back in her opinions & I respected that.  She was quick with a joke & yet when you scratched the surface a kind & generous lady was hidden from view.  The world was a better place with Dawn in it, she will be missed 

Dawn and I shared similar asthetics in our photography.  As I go out shooting, I ask "What do I want to show Dawn?" or "What would Dawn see here?" We laughed often that we would shoot very similar shots and frequent the same places without being there together. We teased one another about our bogie birds. Often posting photos to tease one another.

My heart grieves with you. Your grief is stronger and deeper than mine. Immeasurably so. I can't imagine the silence, loneliness or pain. 

Without Dawn, so many of my favorite paintings just would not exist. At least 8, are based on her photos. So much talent gone.

You have been the only person I have truly ever been so close to. You are the sister Ive never had. I've adored our friendship like no other. You and I were like two peas in a pod fighting it out with words and laughing at the end! You were there the most through the roughest time of my life and saved me, you and Vicki both. I'm going to miss your quirky advice and our spit out your food hilarious conversations. Most of all, im just missing you. I don't know how im going to continue on without you, but I know you're here taunting me and laughing. I love you to the moon and back and then some! Life isnt going to be the same without you. 

Dawn was one of the BEST friend's, coworker and human being that I have ever known. She could make you laugh so hard you would have to walk away before you would wet yourself. She had a heart of gold but no one would know because she was tough on the outside. It was an honor to have worked with her and call her a friend. I will miss her dearly. Fly with the Eagles my friend, until we see you again...🙏💔🙏😪
