We are sad to announce the death of David Dwayne Suhl. Dave passed away after being ill for several years. Dave was born in Bakersfield, CA on 12 Oct 1957 and passed away on 4 March 2023 in Melbourne FL.
Dave was a happy, loving child who loved to dance from an early age. I remember him about a year old, in his 00 Levi dancing at a restaurant to the tunes on the jukebox bringing joy to everyone around. He loved Baseball more than anything in the world. He started playing baseball wherever we were stationed. But that was before he discovered Bowling. His Love for bowling became even greater than Baseball. He was an avid bowler and had such a love of the game that he continued bowling until illness caused him to quit, winning several 300 awards. He also loved being with his cousins whenever we were near.
Dave graduated from Clover Park High School, in Lakewood, WA and was trained to be an Auto Parts Manager. Dave previously managed local Auto Parts Stores in Melbourne, Palm Bay, Pt. Malabar, and Sebastian locations. In Between he also was Manager in Portland Oregon before returning to the Melbourne, Palm Bay area. Dave was an AF brat traveling wherever we were stationed and later joined the Air Force. He was stationed near Madrid, Spain and then rotated back to Spokane, Washington. He moved to Palm Bay, FL after discharge, and remained there for most of his life.
Dave has left behind his parents, Jerry W. and Ann Suhl of Concord, NC, a sister, Jody Kotz of Shalimar, FL, two children, a son, Justin Suhl of Salmon, ID, a daughter, Nicole Williams of Harrisburg, NC, and 8 beautiful grandchildren.
We are truly appreciative of Doris Cudney for all her loving help during this time. We don’t know what we would have done without her.
Funeral arrangements are private. Fountainhead Funeral Home and Memorial Park are handling the arrangements.
