Born on July 4th, 1980, in Bayshore, NY, Danny was the cherished son of Eve Gonzalez and Joel Casillas. He leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of his children, Benjamin and Eva, and his wife, Melissa. Danny was a source of strength and love for his family, always ready to lend an ear, share a joke, or offer a comforting presence during tough times.
In addition to his immediate family, Danny is survived by his sisters, Lydia and Joann, and his brothers, Joel, Alvin, and Albert. He was a pillar of support and guidance to his extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Throughout his life, Danny embraced a multitude of roles, but his most cherished and important one was that of a father. Despite the challenges it brought, he adored his children unconditionally and strived to provide them with a good and simple life. Danny approached his responsibilities with dedication and optimism, always seeking the silver lining in every situation.
Danny's love for his family and friends was unwavering. He had a knack for finding humor in life's moments, often lightening the mood with his witty remarks and playful banter. Danny's presence brought joy to those around him, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service to honor and celebrate Danny's life will be held on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at 12 pm at the Fountainhead Dignity Funeral Home. Together, family and friends will gather to remember a man whose warmth, laughter, and love left an indelible mark on their lives.
