Chelsey Jill Taylor, 18, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando. Chelsey was born in Miami, but lived in Palm Bay since she was 2 months old.
Chelsey was a senior at Bayside High. She played softball since she was 6 years old. She was a pitcher and played first base on both Bayside as well as Brevard Fusion’s traveling team. She was a devoted fan of the University of Miami and the Miami Heat. Chelsey’s family was her friends and her friends were her family. She was feisty, strong and independent, and will be greatly missed.
Chelsey is survived by her mother Debbie Taylor and her father David Taylor; her sisters Melissa Nickerson and Jenny Webster and her husband Chad; nieces Bryana, Alanah, and Emma, grandparents Jill and Bill Mathis and Ed and Tina Trout, and a large extended family.
A visitation will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home from 6-8p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at CenterPointe Church in Palm Bay. Committal will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
