Carol E. Lindo, 74, of Sebastian, Florida passed away in her home Friday 9/13/13 surrounded by loved ones. A native of Jamaica, She moved to Sebastian in 1996 from New York. She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church. Carol worked in hospitality most her life as an administrator and loved to crochet, seamstress, garden, and was thought of as a “mother extraordinaire” by her children and family.
Carol is predeceased by her son Phillip Lindo and brother Donald McKenzie.
Carol is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Lindo; 1 son: Barrington Lindo; 6 daughters: Claudia Lindo, Juliet Bolden, Violet Lindo, Margaret DeFranco, Jeanette Rollins, and Sheila Miller; 5 brothers: Leroy McKenzie, Lancelot McKenzie, Norman McKenzie, Arthur “Jeff” McKenzie, and Edwin McKenzie; one sister: Norma Armstrong; 17 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home Friday 9/20 from 5-7PM and a funeral service Saturday 9/21 at 3PM.
