Brinson Neil Jordan, the son of Henry Jordan and Jean Hobbs was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 6, 1956. The family moved to Winter Haven, FL and lived there and in the surrounding area for many years. Brinson graduated from Winter Haven High School.
Brinson received his Bachelor’s degree from Nova University during which he began his career at Rockwell Collins. He would stay with Rockwell Collins for the entirety of his adult professional career and receive many promotions along the way. He entered retirement in July of 2021.
Brinson and Pamela Jordan were married on August 1,1981 in Melbourne, FL at The Tabernacle Church and eventually became a family of six with four children: Wendy, Corinne, Neil, and Danielle.
Brinson found joy and fulfillment listening to and collecting vinyl records, learning new and old songs on his guitar, singing with his children, playing with his grandchildren, creating special memories with his extended family, and spending quality time with his wife. He made it his life mission to share the love & Gospel of Jesus with everyone he encountered and he impacted so many lives. He was and remains his family’s hero.
To say Brinson will be tremendously missed is an understatement.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela; their daughter Wendy (Andy) Wolking and their sons: Cormac and Emerson; daughter Corinne Lancaster and her children: Ashlyn, Autumn and Josiah; son Neil Jordan; daughter Danielle Jordan; mother Jean Williams; sister Kim (Danny) Tidwell and their children: Jacob, Mandy and Nick; brother Gaydon (Valerie) Jordan and their children: Erica and Justin; brother Russ Jordan; and brother Jonathan Jordan and his children: Amanda, Jessica and Nathan; as well as numerous cousins and other extended family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Jordan.
Fountainhead Funeral Home & Memorial Park is entrusted with his arrangements. A graveside celebration of life will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 7303 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909 on January 31, 2022 at 11 a.m. Out of an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the service will be outside, weather permitting, and we kindly ask that attendees maintain social distancing and avoid hugs and kisses as we strive to keep everyone safe and healthy.
