Brenda M. Green

After graduating from Lincoln High School in Michigan, she earned her Associate's Degree from Freed-Hardeman Jr. College in Henderson, Tennessee. She then went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from David-Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Green began teaching in Brevard County in 1963, where she taught for three years. After moving to Indian River County, she dedicated the next 28 years to teaching third grade students at Fellsmere Elementary School. She continued this service after retirement by substituting there until 1999.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William; sons Allen (Tammy), and Bruce (Julie). She was preceded in death by her son Charles (Kim). She had 9 grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home of Palm Bay on Thursday, July 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. There will also be a Celebration of Life held Friday, July 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Fellsmere Elementary School cafeteria. Anyone planning on attending the celebration is encouraged to bring a dish to share. A private funeral service for family will be held separately.
