Bernard “Bruce” Vincent Rubino, 83, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and came to Palm Bay in 2004 from Port St. Lucie.
Bruce retired after a long career in the newspaper industry as Circulation Director for Scripps-Howard News Service. For the last eight years, he worked part time as a merchandiser for American Greetings. Bruce was a member of the New Jersey Club and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palm Bay.
Bruce is survived by a his wife of 60 years Eleanor Rubino, his son Bruce Rubino and his wife Cindy, his daughters Brenda LeBlanc and her husband William, and Karen Barnard and her husband Gary, his brothers Frank and Don, and his grandchildren Kimberly and Allison Barnard, and Anthony and Isabella Rubino.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6-8p.m at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the church at 10:30 on Tuesday.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society or the Salvation Army.
