Barbara J. Blumberg

Celebrating the life of Barbara Jean Blumberg (July 12, 1937 – February 23, 2014). Barbara was born in Sylacauga, Alabama. Her family moved to Florida when she was 8 years old. Barbara worked at BellSouth for nearly 30 years before retiring in the late 1980’s. Upon retirement, she and her late husband, Simon, became business owners. Barbara also enjoyed volunteering, baking, and spending time with her loving family. She was well known for her generous spirit and great sense of humor.

Barbara leaves to mourn her two son’s Mark (Cathy) Henderlite of Orlando, Florida, Michael McCullough of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister Dorothy Lucarelli of Longwood, Florida, grandchildren Christopher, Michael, and Sarah of Florida, nieces Angela, Valerie, Linda, and Theresa of Florida, and extended family from New Jersey and Tennessee.

Visitation will be at 6:00pm Friday, February 28, 2014, with Service Saturday March 1st at 1:00pm, in the Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
