Armando Martinez age 90 of Palm Bay, Fl passed away peacefully on March 6th 2012. He was the second son born of 7 children to the Villanueva Martinez family of Isabela, Puerto Rico and the beloved husband of the late Helen Baraja Martinez.
Armando was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Force and stationed in India. In 1946 he married Helen and moved to the Bronx NY. He was employed by the United States Postal Service attaining the position of Supervisor and was the recipient of numerous achievement awards during his 36 years of service. In 1954 he moved to Franklin Square, NY where he began his passion of jewelry design and watch repair. Once retired, he moved to Placentia, California before finally moving to Palm Bay, Florida.
He is survived by his daughter Elaine Healy and husband Jim; his son James and wife Nancy and his sisters: Juanita Bonilla, Hilda Angueira and Luz Calero.
He was a devoted grandfather to Brendan Healy, Chris and Tyler Martinez and a very much loved Uncle Marty to his 14 nieces & nephews.
